For lessons booked through Keystone Ski School for Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail, or Beaver Creek, Bill will be in blue parka and blue pants.

 

To book your private lesson, call Bill to determine availability and to get instructions on booking. Then call the Keystone Ski School at 800/255-3715.

For lessons booked through the Keystone Ski School:

  • You may take your lesson at any Vail Resort ski area--Keystone, Breckenridge, Vail, Beaver Creek or at Arapahoe Basin (please visit link). There may also be opportunities at Northstar and Heavenly Valley in California for multi-day private lessons; please inquire. Plan on arriving at least one-hour early if you need to rent equipment at a resort.
  • Private lessons can accommodate up to 6 people at the base cost.
  • Lift tickets are required for all private lessons. Check for lift ticket prices when booking; they may cost less if purchased with a lesson.
  • Full-day private lessons are available at all Vail resorts. Start at 9:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. (later starts available at Keystone when night-skiing available. Cost $625 at Keystone; $745 at Beaver Creek and Vail; $670 at Breckenridge. Confirm price when booking.
  • Three-hour private lesson only at Keystone: start at 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. Cost $455. Not available at other Vail Resorts ski areas. Confirm price when booking.

At Keystone, free parking is included in your advance purchase private lesson. If your private lesson is at the River Run base area, park for free in the Hunki Dori or Gold Bug lots. If your private lesson is at the Mountain House base area, park for free in the Marmot lot.  To receive your free parking, give the parking lot attendant the name on your private lesson.

When you book your private lesson at the ski school have available

  • name of your preferred instructor--Bill Jones and date you have arranged with Bill
  • your address, phone, email, and credit card information
  • people to include in lesson, their ages, their skill levels, their goals
  • date and length of session you wish to schedule, plus start time. Available start times may vary according to lift access schedules.
  • where you would like to start your session: at which resort, and which ski school meeting area of resort.
  • Rates and deals on lessons, lift tickets and equipment rental are subject to change by the resorts. Check for final prices and options when you book. And, once a date is set up with Bill, please book yourself; Bill does not have a way to secure your credit card data.

If renting equipment, consider renting it at the resort of your choice. That way, if an adjustment is needed it can be done with less interruption to your lesson. The company rentskis.com has locations near liftbases at most of the Vail Resorts ski areas.
